Webcam not working with Mac Pro/AIM

I'm trying to do a video chat with my friend via AIM. Problem is my friend
can't see me and I can't see my friend. Anyone know what's up? I have a
Inspiron 1520 with Integrated Webcam running Windows Vista Premium. My friend
has a Mac Pro laptop. Thanks for any help anyone can offer.
