Kinda dumb for a 'new' OS that has everything but the kitchen sink.
can plug a web cam in, Vista says 'Oh EZCAM III' and loads the driver
Yet I cant do anything with the camera. Plug a microphone into the soun
card, open up sound recorder and record sounds to my delight, no driver
nothing extra to make windows sound recorder 'more' compatible with m
sound card. So why did the engineers not think to add a way to captur
images from a web cam. How hard could it be? Seems like w95, w98 and X
used a file called AMCap to provide a means of recording webcams. Wha
happened to it in Vista? Lets provide a multimedia experience but the
overlooked the webcam. Tsk tsk
