WebCam with Vista

Hi all
I am using the vx6000 LIfe Cam with Vista. I have found the Vista drivers
and installed them. Device Manage says the device is working ok. I have
given Vista plenty of opportunity of finding better drivers but it reports
mine are optimal
However the microphone is not working. Plunger stays at the bottom/
Everything else ok.Does this in fact mean I have a hardware fault

Greetings Roger,

If you run the Audio and Video Setup (press Alt-T on the keyboard in any Messenger window,
and choose Audio and Video Setup), does it work there? If you've not been through the setup,
it may simply be set to a different device (like your built-in sound) which would be the
issue.
