I recently was forced to switch ISPs and am now using Frontier, my phone
company, for internet. I'd be grateful for advice on how to handle two
issues. There doesn't appear to be a user forum at the company, or at least
I haven't found one.
1. The emails from two companies I do business with are now labeled
"[SPAM:#]." I can't whitelist or blacklist companies through Frontier (it's
a feature that used to be offered but isn't any more), but I did create a
filter in their webmail stating that any emails from these companies should
go to my inbox. The emails do make it to my inbox, but they did that even
before I created the filter. Is this label likely to be occurring at a level
that I have no control over? Any suggestions for getting rid of the label?
2. Frontier's webmail page allows me to customize some settings, such as the
sorting order of received emails. However, the new settings aren't holding.
If I log out and then log back in, they've reverted to the defaults. I spent
a lot of time on the phone with Frontier yesterday, and their tech support
person finally agreed that the settings won't hold. There's no "Save"
feature for these settings, although there is such a feature for what the
company calls "Preferences." Unfortunately, these settings aren't in
Preferences. Any suggestions?
Thank you very much!
