weird graphics?

I opened my laptop yesterday out of sleep mode and as the screen came alive
I noticed all the graphics slightly distorted, stretched out so speak
horizontally and a bit fuzzy and a bit larger as well..weird...I restarted
the system and it went back to normal..any explanation?

I would suggest that you check that you have the latest graphic driver from
the graphics card manufacturers, manufacturers are updating Vista drivers
quite frequently lately. You could check the event viewer to see if it gives
any reason for the incident.
