weird "icon overlay" problem with TortoiseCVS

Hi all, I'm using TortoiseCVS on two different versions of vista, one
is running on my new laptop computer which came with Vista Home
Premium version, the other in the office which is running Vista
Enterprise (with admin user privilege). However I have noticed
different behavior when running TortoiseCVS on these two different
versions of tortoisecvs. The "icon overlay" (the green checkmark that
indicate a certain folder has been "up-to-date" with the CVS server
can be displayed on my laptop (runing vista home), while my office pc
can not display the "icon overlay" correctly. any idea why is that? I
did some google search and noticed it might be the UAC problem, but I
have disabled the UAC on my office PC but am still having the same
issue. thanks!
