Weird IntelliPoint problem

I have recently installed IntelliPoint 6.1 for my new Comfort 3000 mouse.

However, everytime I either log out and back in, or when I reboot my PC, the
pointer speed and scrolling options always reset to their defaults.

Any ideas on this one? I'm running the Home Premium version of Vista.

Problem solved...

I used a freeware program called RegSeeker to remove all traces of my
previous Logitech that were left in the registry, then I rebooted.

All is now working well!
