Weird Menu Errors

I know this is not a problem with the software this occurs in, since they
have been working until recently.

Some examples:
http://img504.imageshack.us/img504/5723/testpp0.jpg

In the top one, many menu icons are missing. Only two remain. No idea why
those two would remain and everything else disappearing.
In the bottom one (firefox), the tiny square on the left is what appears
when hovered over,
and the slightly bigger rectangle on the bottom is the tooltip. Both are
completely blank. =(

This also happens in some other programs, in only *some* of the "menus".
Selectively. Tiny blank boxes where menus/tooltips should be.

I had a feeling these were all related problems since they happened at
roughly the same time.
Unfortunately I don't recall what I was doing beforehand. Maybe related to
graphics drivers? I have no idea.

All of Vista's menus are working fine, I think. Just software.

Thanks in advance. =(

Yo VS--

Go here:

Say what? What do this mean?

"I know this is not a problem with the software this occurs in, since they

Huh? What software has been working until recently? Why make a statement
that is pure enigma enshrouded in mystery?

You've been watching a lot of Romney, Guilliani and hapless Fred Thompson
haven't you?

That screenshot is representing what for crying out loud?

"All of Vista's menus are working fine, I think. Just software."

What's the frequency Kenneth?
