This is a weird one...Icon disappears, nothing happens

Hey everybody...I get the message that "there are new
updates ready to install. Click here to install." But
when I click on the icon in my tray it disappears and
does nothing. 5-10 seconds later, it reappears and tells
me the same thing. I'm going nuts!

What's the deal?

I'm having the exact same issue, if anyone knows the solution please tell us,
this icon is driving me nuts!!!
