weird s*it

I have 2 user acounts in vista home premium... me and my wife. I am admin
and wife is not. Whenever my wife logs off from her account and I try to
logon to mine, the logon screen becomes new....... IE without my icons and
it tries to setup programs. I dont have virus's or malware, spyware,trojans
etc etc etc so why is this happening? (I do have service pack 1 beta)

Does installing Service Pack coincide with this problem starting? If so,
try removing it and see if your problem still exists.
