Weird update issue

Hi,
I have had a strange problem with my update tool for the past few weeks
now, if i open the windows update window it shows as the attched pic,
always the same, blank, no updates, no chance for me to check for
updates and i also seem to have lost my ultimate updates box also. Has
anyone else had a similair problem?, I cannot find anything on
microsoft site.

i dont know if this will work for your problem or not..

when my automatic updateing stoped working.i looked for everything i could
find out about fixing the problem..microsoft guy came back with some really
crazy,,things to do in the computer,,to try and fix it.

i found a website,that had a link..to go to windows update.updater..to
manually down load it.like you were doing it for the very first
time..manually..is the important thing here.after i down loaded it.i got out
of everything and did a restart..went to updateing and it all worked find
went for 31 updates to start,been working right ever since..

some one knows where that is located.to manually down load it..ask some one
on here..
