Today i tried to play a album that contains 6 songs from a read only
parition. The elapsed time did not reset and the current song highlighting
also did not advance or correct. The elapsed time accumulates for all the
songs i.e. elapsed > actual/current duration.

I have taken the screen capture to post but i couldnt find a way to upload
the error file

That definitely sounds like an interesting and weird problem. Are these
normal music files, and what's their file type (MP3, WMA...)?

Please upload your screenshot to http://www.imageshack.us , and post the
resulting link here. You can also repost your message, together with the
screenshot, at

Regards
