Weren't there new WL Messenger sounds during the beta?

I seem to recall, that in the last public beta release of Windows Live
Messenger 8.0, before its final release, Microsoft supplied some new sounds
for events like "Contact signed in" and "New message". These were replaced
with their older (as in MSN Messenger 7.5) counterparts in the final
version. The newer ones were less annoying than these.

Where are these sounds? Are they available somewhere? Or do I remember it
wrong?
