WGA - Not Genuine or Not Licenced ?

Why on earth do M$ pretend to check if an installation of XP software is
genuine?
Are they suggesting some other software house is producing an operating
system which mimics XP - I think not.
Otherwise they are suggesting that their own lines of code might not be
genuine.

Seems that "genuine" is yet another word the yanks don't understand
properly.
A valid licence check, perhaps so. A genuine check no.
To call WGA that is both misleading & misrepresents what WGA does.

Time to call in the lawyers again.

Have you tried it? The instructions are flawed and complicated. Some
people would rather use their computer than spend all day removing MS
SPYWARE.

This is a site that I got a removal tool from. ) I had found it mentioned in one of my techie newsletters

I loaded it, ran it and it said my machine is clean
