WGA Tool will not install.

The cursed WGA Tool will not install via Updates. I have [again] gone through
the validation process. I have adminstrator privileges. However, I cannot
install the tool and then the subsequent needed updates to patch
Windows-Sieve. Help?

I wouldn't even worry about installing it. Even though it's a "critical"
update, it's nothing more than beta software. I hid it from my listings of
critical updates.

Count your blessings. Try configuring your computer to do Automatic
Updates with it set to download updates but you decide what and when to
install.
