WGA update nagging :-(

Microsoft Update tried to make me install the WGA check again.
But I know my Windows is OK and don't want that in my startup.

So I checked for not asking again, but now Microsoft Update
"nags" me about "hinding an important update" each time...

Anyway to get rid of that .-(

Hi Lars,

Nagging you mean on the left side: you have hidden updates?
If so no you cannot make it go, because it is a reminder to help you
reminding that you have hidden update(s)

Best regards,
Michel Denie

No, just like any other High-Priority update you've hidden.

How did I get rid of it the last time :-)

Hmmm... Maybe I installed it and used a remove-tool afterwards .-)

The well-known removal tool hasn't worked since c. Jul-06.

I don't know, why don't you see if there isn't something at this link:
news:/msnews.microsoft.com/

Sorry, "*rain*drops*", the link requires a double slash. Try the corrected one:

Doesn't it help just to remve it from startup?
Or is there a process or somthing that will readd it?

I don't really see a point in the WGA notification.
If the Windows version is legal, then it is legal.
Why add something to check that at each boot slowing boot down
Can't it just check once, and remove itself if it is legal?

That would require MS caring for their paying customers. They don't care.
