wgatray.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close

I get this message whenever a non-administrator logs on a computer. Then the
desktop will not load. This computer has passed validation previously. If I
give the user admin rights it is okay. This happened after giving users
permission in the registry to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT so they could change what
applications open whatr extensions.

Was this problem caused by one of the latest updates - or any update for
that matter

It is caused by WGA ( I assume).

My mistake - right Q but in the wrong thread - I wondered where it had gone.
That's what happens when you have too many posts open at the same time.
I see there are no other offers of help - what with all the threads about
updates I can see why nobody has helped. Well this is windowsupdate.
