Stop taking whatever it is you are on, and use vista for a while. I
don't think it will seem as rosy to you.

How much memory is installed in your PC? Vista loves RAM, I have different
configs setup with Vista. It runs fine on 1.2 GBs of RAM, I have seen Vista
Home Premium running like a champ on 1 GB of RAM, effects such as Flip 3D,
Copy and Paste task are very fast.

Not everyone has problems with Vista. If you have a new machine, correct
drivers, Office installed correctly and a few other things, Vista just might
work OK for you.

Hi ferret, love your user name, it was my same handle 20 years ago. All
good things last.
There is nothing wrong with vista. Much of it is lack of user
experiance. A new o/s will take time to mature.

as long as you dont dare using other programs that are non microsoft and
make sure the MS products you use are only made in 2007 and after, then you
wont have a problem at all

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Some like it, some don't.
Personally, if I want pretty, I'll go to a beach or art gallery.
I turn off all the eye candy so my machine will actually run.
I can make Vista work just fine, I just don't like the way it is done.
If you like it and it's working well for you, WTG!

That isn't true. It just seems after reading some of your other posts, you
just want to stir up trouble. Why not wipe your system clean, install
Ubuntu then head on over to the Ubuntu gropu and annoy them for awhile.

Just FYI
