Well, to me it seems the UI is optimized to PREVENT users from doing
ANYTHING with their system, other than what Microsoft wants them to.
It is an interesting gambit - the less control and options you give
the user, the less problems they can have and the easier the system is
to use (in theory). I think instead of the half dozen or so variants
of Vista they have out there, Microsoft would have been much better
off releasing three..
Business - with the things business needs, like permissions etc
Regular - lacks the features you pay more for in Business, but works
like XP did - sort of configurable and user friendly
Appliance - no options or customization, it just works and you cannot
change much so it cannot be broken
