Where's my INBOX ? Its gone away

I could make a long list of peculiarities with my Toshiba e335 Pocket PC
2002, such as syncing and disconnecting multiple times a day all by itself,
locking up to where I can't even do a hard reboot and have to shut off the
battery and wipe out the memory, etc.

The real reason for this posting is to see if anyone has a possible solution
as to why my INBOX seems to have disappeared. It no longer says INBOX but
rather says ACTIVESYNC. There are no emails listed, just a blank page. When
clicking on ACTIVESYNC to select another folder from the pull down menu I
can still select SENT or OUTBOX and others but there is no INBOX. My desktop
screen says I have 4 unread messages. Click the email function to see the 4
unread messages and there's nothing there.

I have just discovered today that if I go to SETTINGS / SYSTEM / MEMORY /
RUNNING and close all running programs then I can go back to the desktop and
select INBOX and WALA! All the emails show up, but only once. After I close
them and come back to my email after running any other program then its back
to the blank page and EMAIL no longer exists.

I have soft reset, hard reset, restored, re-synced, rebooted the PC,
upgraded to ActiveSync 3.7.1, run the .pst fix program and nothing seems to
fix this problem which began a couple days ago for seemingly no reason. PC
runs XP Pro and Outlook Exchange. All this has worked well for past year or
two. Also have OfficeScan virus checker on the Pocket PC and it detects no
virus.

My hats off to whoever can figure this one out.
Gary

Hi,
In the past did you attempt to restore the Inbox? I've seen problems with
restoring the inbox and e-mail.
