While chatting,answer goes to my email

Hi,
While chating with someone,if he is few minutes without typing,then i
receive his next typing in my email,somebody ever encounterd this ?And whats
the fix.

Are either of you on appear offline? If so, if you don't talk for a few minutes, messages
will be delivered by the offline instant messaging (OIM) service. The OIM Service will
sometimes deliver your messages to your e-mail address, although I admit even I am not aware
of why it does this occasionally.

To avoid the problem, go online.
