Do you mean the "Insertion Point" keyboard cursor that indicates where
text will be entered, or the "Mouse Cursor"?
If you are referring to the keyboard cursor, then it may be an
indication of some sort of failure in your keyboard, or there is a
problem with the keyboard drivers. Does this problem happen if you try a
different keyboard?
If you are referring to the mouse cursor, then perhaps the mouse
settings have been changed to automatically move the pointer to the
default button in forms and dialogs. You'll need to check the settings
for this. Or, like with a keyboard, it could be a pending hardware
failure or problem with the driver. Is your mouse operating on a level,
smooth surface?

supply that my UPS could not stop. Now I'm just waiting for the
