white screen

hello al

so recently my notebook (hp pavilion dv6500) has started havin
issues.every second time or so i log in,after the welcome screen goe
away the screen becomes white with an active cursor and stays that way.
can open the task manager but that is al
if the notebook loads properly there seems to be no problem regardles
of how long it remains o
does anybody hav any ideas?im pretty desperat

The random nature of the problem indicates a hardware issue, possibly with
the video card or with the connection between the monitor and the
motherboard. Contact HP tech support.
