The whole truth and nothing but the truth about fanboys

This is suppose to be just another one of hundreds of Microsoft
so-called support groups. Maybe once upon a time it was. It isn't
anymore. What it has become is a hangout for some of the most
obnoxious, ill-mannered clueless jerks in all of Usenet known as
Microsoft fanboys.

What is a fanboy? Some highly excitable, overly emotional zealot,
often a fanatical disciple, more often closer to being a maniac
obsessed with apologizing for and tirelessly making excuses for
Microsoft blunders. Fanboys are foremost characterized by an
inordinate and unconstrained enthusiasm for something. In this group
their unwavering steadfast support of the latest Windows version,
Vista.

Fanboys simply can not be reasoned with. Period. Logic is incongruous
to them. They will deny reality even continue to rant, rave and scream
well after their object of worship; Microsoft, has admitted something
is indeed wrong, broken or needing work in Vista. Fanboys mostly being
fools will just continue to accuse anyone pointing out Vista flaws as
being stupid or worse.

Fanboys deliberately lie, distort, misquote and try to build Strawmen
and use fallacies in feeble attempts to use deception and trickery to
pretend things that aren't true. Fanboys will call other posters
names. Fanboys love to project themselves as all knowing. Fanboys will
snip anything that proves they are wrong or lying and pretend like it
never was said.

Fanboys are crude. Fanboys will go out of their way to mock and
ridicule people coming to this group looking for help. Fanboys often
make insulting remarks like nobody forced your to upgrade, don't you
know you should do research before upgrading or the classic and over
used, most errors are the user's fault or that is a driver issue,
always implying whatever goes wrong is the never the fault of Vista
itself.

Fanboys being blind to reason and mindless zealots simply can't see
Vista as ever being responsible for anything going wrong though there
is a mountain of evidence that suggests otherwise and laughingly
often confirmed to be true by Microsoft. Through a fanboy's eyes Vista
is nearly perfect, then when caught in one of their frequent lies
often counter with the pathetic all software has bugs excuse or the
equally lame all prior versions of Windows had bugs, implying you
shouldn't expect any better this time around. This more than anything
confirms fanboys live in a delusional state in some fantasy dream
world.

Fanboys are quick to call others trolls ignoring the reality they are
responsible for over 90% of the noise is this newsgroup. Fanboys have
a us verses them mentality. If you show signs of agreeing with their
often half-cocked almost always loony conclusions or deliberate
fabrications they will be your friend for life. If you even hint at
Vista causing problems and provide undeniable proof, a fanboy will
attack, attack, attack and constantly chase you around the newsgroup
snapping and snarling at your heels like rabid dog.

WOW! Finally, you've described your sorry loser a*s to a "T"!
You learned all of this in your latest group help meeting at the mental
institution where they're keeping you?
Great job and thanks!
Hope you're making progress..oh...do you have a release date or are you
in for life (hopefully)?

You have been told to stop posting copyright stuff.
It may be from your clinical notes but it is about you and not yours to
steal and post.

my favorite part:
Rules of Conduct

Appropriate Language: The purpose of our communities is to exchange
technical information and expertise about Microsoft products. Please avoid
personal attacks, slurs, and profanity in your interactions.

unfortunately there's nothing in the MVP "rulebook" that actually requires
any of them to be able to, or willing to read.
