This is the worst thing Microsoft could do. I called to re-activate my
already activated copy of Vista Ultimate and found out that Windows may ask
for activation every time you update a driver, even if it is from Windows
Update. So, if Update tells me there is a new driver for my modem, sound
card, video card, etc. and I elect to download it, I will have to call
Microsoft again, read off 9 sets of numbers, then get connected to an agent
because the set of numbers was not recognized, then explain to the agent that
I downloaded a driver and he will give me another set of 9 numbers to type in
just to get it activated again. I'm sorry, but I find that ridiculous. If
you're not ready to deal with this hassle, don't download SP-1
