Why can't I download anything?

Everytime I go to download something it'll go to 100% and the box will shut
down (like a normal download) but the program does not get downloaded on my
computer. It doesn't even let me go through the setup process on any program.

I bet Vista is saving the files to a different location. Undo the auto
close on the save download windows so it stays on screen so you can
confirm whatever you are downloading finishes. Then use Search to find
where it is getting put if you don't know where you told it to save
downloads.

Make sure you download to a folder like Desktop, Documents or Downloads, and
not an IE temp folder. Run the setup program(s) by double-clicking the icon
*after* the download is complete.
