Why do I get signed out

I just finished writing an e-mail that tok me almost an hout to complete.
Then ,when I clicked the send button, the system told me that I had been
signed out, that microsoft periodically do that, and that I have to sign
again. So , I did , and when I was back , my message had not been sent. Now I
can't find it, even though i saved it in the draft folder. What the hell is
going on. Do I have to start over again. If so , I'm gonna say the hell
with messenger and go with another e-mail client. I'm ****ed right off

this is the messenger newsgroup, not the windows live hotmail newsgroup

if you take and hour to write an email, then the cookie is expiring for that
logon session.
