Basically the WLK is really "targeted" towards Vista and later Windows
platforms. When testing on Vista and later the DTM has a collection of tests
that is can apply to each device class.
Some of these tests can only run on Vista and later platforms. Don't know
the reasons in all cases, but some of these tests simply can't be run on
pre-Vista platforms. One reason might be that Microsoft simply did not want
to invest heavily in developing tests for a deprecated Windows version.
For the device class you are using the DTM has found some tests that it can
run on your driver on Vista/7, but there is no similar test that they can
run on XP.
It is a mystery, but the DTM marches to the tune of a drummer that no one
else hears...
Good luck!
