Why does IE always open minimized windows when opening a new window?

When I minimize a window, to refer to later, and then open another
window, the minimized window opens to full screen for a few seconds
before the new window appears. Why can't IE not open a new window
without maximizing some other window at the same time?

Is there a solution to this problem?

Kathy

The question is why are you using IE? Both the French and German
government have recommended not using it as there is a vulnerability
that's actively being exploited by hackers. Use Firefox or Chrome. Or,
better yet, get rid of Vista and use a safe operating system like Ubuntu
which is free and can be gotten at http://www.ubuntu.com/

I'm very happy to see you feel that way. Please keep using IE. You
deserve each other.
