Why does my iPaq 2200 keep losing time????????????????

That's bizarre. I have several PPCs and so they don't all get cradled every
night except for my 4155, which is my day-to-day one. The 2215 has been off
the cradle laying on my desk for most of the week. I've turned it on now and
again to check something or other, but mostly it's been in standby. It's
down to 66% power, from the times I've used it, and the normal keep alive
drain, but the time is within 20sec of my PC. Do you have any interesting
software installed? Are you game to back it up, hard reset and see if a
clean PPC has the same problem? If so, I'm baffled and you can restore. If
not, then you can look for what app is at fault.

The only non PPC2003 software I have on my iPaq 2200 is Microsoft's Best of
Entertainment pack (6-7 small games) and AvantGo.

Any problems with these?

I just did a complete Hard-reset of the iPaq last night and did NOT
reinstall any games (other than Solitaire and Jawbreaker which seem to come
with PPC2003).

The iPaq lost 2 hours on it's clock this morning...

I'm about to give up on this...

No, it hasn't taken me four months to complain. As I mentioned before, HP
has sent me three different 2200s in the first year to replace them when
they can't keep the time correctly...

A damn $20 Casio watch keeps time correctly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was a response to your initial post which didn't include that info. I'm
frankly baffled, especially if this is relatively constantly inconsistent
for you over several devices. It's not something I have heard complained
about much, if ever. As I said, mine seems to be fine, as are my other PPCs.
I just looked at my 2215 again, last sync was over four days ago, and it may
have been charged in between, but the clock is currently 12 secs off with my
PC.

I just reset the time on my PPC two hours ago, completely disconnected from
my PC. During the two hours, it lost well over an hour of time. I don't
get it at all...
