Unfortunately, it is not a simple as that. The thumb drive is easily
recognized and written to by an XP Pro Machine. Even after saving a file to
it from the XT, it shows up in device manager as a drive, but it does not
have a volume. When you try to create one, it gives you an error message
that says you need to update the screen.
I saw this error several times on the internet. Apparently it is common.
I still haven't found a solution.
