Why does WLM continue to open automatically?

I have gone into the Messenger Live menu and disabled the auto sign-in
features and it is still opening every time I log onto Windows. I hardly
ever use Messenger (I am partially paralyzed & type very slowly) and do not
want it to open when I log in. HELP!!! If I am unable to resolve this
problem, I will probably just uninstall it.

I'm afraid that won't work, MSConfig simply 'disables' these entries -- it does not remove
them. Messenger's entry will simply be ignored and run anyway.
Try it sometime.

If you note the Location column where it is and manually remove it from that location then
that'll do the trick though.
