I am using XP media with IE 7 I have not changed any thing on my computer
but for no reason a few weeks ago it started requiring me to press F2 to
continue boot up. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Before Windows XP even starts to load?
BIOS issue.

The first screen has "press F1 for setup" and "press F2 to continue" after
pressing F2 the computer boots up and every thing is fine.

As I said... BIOS issue...

The BIOS is part of your hardware setup - it would not matter WHAT operating
system you had on the machine - this would happen to you. You need to
consult your motherboard manual and/or investigate your BIOS setup (F1
instead of F2) to see what is wrong.

In other words - nothing at all to do with Windows or any Windows related
updates.
