why the new messenger is sooo much worse then the old one......

the only thing i used messenger for is to meet new people and facilitate
communications with them. the old messenger worked just fine. pay enough
guys enough money, and they'll figure out how to ruin it.

The new profile picute size is half the size on the new messenger. I didn't
want the new messenger, but they forced me onto it. now i can't even see who
i'm talking to anymore. worse off- unless they have fotos in their profile
page, which most people don't, you just can't get a good look at who you're
talking to.

You guys ruined the only cool about messenger- that you could see who your
talking to and people could show you new pictures of them right on their
profile.
the pics are so small now, even using the largest font settings on a 23
screen- you just can't see the pictures.

congrats guys at MSN for ruining what worked perfect before. I'm going back
to AOL.

You can actually use MSN Messenger 7.0 (as opposed to Windows Live Messenger) which still has
the size settings the same for the contact card:

Just uninstall Windows Live Messenger first and install this one.
