As the subject line says : Why OH! Why can't I play DVD's in Windows Media
Player for Vista anymore??

This is what I have installed as for the Windows Media Player for Vista.

Look at ALL the listed under "MPEG/DVD Filters" I have. So why in the hell
I can't play simple retail movie DVD's anymore.

More Info...

OK,

About two weeks ago I could play retail movie DVD's in the Vista Windows
Media Player, now I can't. I have not installed any other software or
changed anything. In fact everything has been like it is for a year now.

Of course, I could use the other DVD players I have installed, but, I like
to use Vista Windows Media player overall.

I have "Microsoft Vista Home Premium 32-Bit OS.

Also, I have had already installed, Cyberlink PowerDVD 7 Deluxe with
advanced audio packs and Cyberlink PowerDVD SE Vista for Windows media
player in Vista, Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 with Sonic CinePlayer DVD
Decoder for Windows Media Player in Vista.


Complete error message in Vista Windows Media Player when I pop a retail
movie DVD in the DVD drive :

"Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file. For
additional assistance, click Web Help."

The so called "Web Help" tells me to go to the "Microsoft Communities" to
find help here, Which I did.
