I have a laptop with 64-bit Home Premium. I noticed that there are 3 IEs.
There's "regular" IE, 64-bit IE & IE without add-ons. Please explain the
differences between the 3. Is one of the 3 the most secure against viruses, &
spyware & stuff?

Thank you.
David

WHY do you think there are three?? If you are playing around looking
in all of your directories/folders, you might THINK there are three,
when there is only one.

ONLY one.

Obviously on your 64bit OS use 64-bit, unless problems.

P.S.
You don't need IE w/o addons if your IE is version8 because there's an
option in IE8 allowing to start w/o addins. Fewer items in Startmenu -
cleaner/more efficient, in fact I delete duplicates/etc junk in Start menu,
always.
But keep IE w/o addins shortcut if your version is lower than 8, because IE7
and downwards need a few clicks to make it run stripped down w/o addins.

I'm trying out the 64-bit version of IE on my 64-bit version of Home
Premium. The pages seem to load faster. Very interesting!

well yes... code is compiled for 64-bit binary words, hence faster
You can bet 128-but computers will be even faster... unless it chokes on its
own complexity and crosstalk between bitlines within a tightly packed
address + data bus.
