why yuocam keeps on telling me that there is no video device connected to my laptop?

i have a hp laptop n i got this webcam called youcam but im having some
problems with it, sometimes it's working but suddenly it stops working and
tells me that there no video device connected to my laptop n the only way to
fix it is through the system restore but it will happen again. anyone can
help me fix it once n for all?

I can only guess it is a USB camera?
Have you tried it in a different USB port?
