Some routers just have trouble with Vista.
It could be the driver for the wireless adapter, check the manufacturer's
website for an updated driver.
I would check to see if it will connect OK at a hotspot, like Starbucks.
If it does, your router may be incompatible or need a firmware update.
If you have a USB wireless adapter that is Vista compatible, try it.
You may want to call Acer, they may know a solution.
