Widows Live keeps booting me

For some reason Windows Live Messenger keeps booting me. It tells me it's
encounterd an error and must close. I keep letting it send the error report
but that does me no good. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no
avail. I even went into my registry and deleted all the references for Live
Messenger in there after about the third reintall . Reintalled it again and
I'm still haveing the same problem. I've had this problem with Yahoo in the
past. I could never get into that. No matter what I clicked on it would boot
me but I've never had this problem with msn messenger until recently. Does
anyone have any ideas? I'm using ver 8.1
