widows update error 8x0ddd0007

Get this message when I try to update XP. Have an icon always open with
constant reminder I need to reboot to properly install the updates, but it
never does. Thanks

For error 0x8DDD0007 you can try this:

Start/Run --> regedit.exe

If the RebootRequired key exists in registry (see path below),
delete the key.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update\RebootRequired
