Wierd Update Action

Hello:

I hesitated to get the 908531 update until the fix was put into place.

That aside I let auto updates download the update today. When the update
finished the windows update notification on the tray just dissappeared. I
was never prompted to install it, even after a restart.

I went to the windows update page and marked it for download. When I clicked
to download it just started the install routine as I had already downloaded
it.

When you check the install history it shows installed from the windows
update site not automatic downloads.

What would cause it to act that way?
