Win 2000 progress bar stuck after update

Windows update downloaded & installed the July 2003 nVidia drivers. Upon
restart, the progress bar got stuck Â¾ of the way across the windows 2000 logo
screen. Iâ€™ve got in with safe mode, uninstalled & downloaded the newest
drivers from nVidia themselves, but didnâ€™t solve the problem. I uninstalled
these drivers & reverted back to the original drivers but this still didnâ€™t
solve the problem.

Iâ€™m not sure what else to try. Any help would be appreciated!
