Win 2000 serv update, com+

I have had this problem trying to update are win 2k servers for a little
while. Not only that, I was not able to start/stop services, install
programs, slow boot up/down. I've tryed to reinstall win installer 3.1, SP4
roll up, and a few other patch with no avail. Did the dll rereg etc. Then a
couple days ago, I came across the APC ver 6 note. I check and we had the
apc software on both servers. I diabled the APC services from starting up in
the registry, rebooted and removed the software (Only 1 server was successful
for removing the APC software the other was missing a dll and wouldn't go)

This is one of the servers (runs IIS and SQL2000)
Now I have a whole new set of problems. Windows update still dosn't work
with the error codes of 8007041D, and 80040206. Here is the rest:

BITS will start
RPC Starts

SENS event will not start in services (error of : Could not start the
System Event Notification service on local computer: Error 1068: The
dependancy service or group failed to start)

Remote access Man, Rasman will not start (error of : Could not start the
Remote access Mananger service on local computer: Error 1068: Theexecutable
program that this service is configured to run in doen't implement the
service)

Removable storage does the same as rasman.

Any one have any ideas on the things I could try?
