Win 2k updates

Keep getting error message 0x80072EFD and I have run through all the Help
steps to rectify situation. This has happened since June 2005. Can anyone
help me on this?

I went through all the steps, added the address to my trusted sites, went
through notebook, everything, still not able to update.

I have exactly the same problem, and I have also tried the suggestions by
Maurice N to no availe. I believe that the new windows updates does not work
via MS Proxy 2.0, is this true??
