Win 2k8 R2 and Hyper-V R2

Hi,

I downloaded Win 2k8 R2 and see that there is a download for Hyper-V R2 as
well.

Do i need to install both or will win 2008 R2 include Hyper-V R2?

I think the second is the standalone Hyper-V Server R2 iso file.

Yes, there are two versions. There is Windows Server 2008 R2 with hyper-v and
there is a standalone Hyper-V server R2. The standalone Hyper-V server is
Windows core sku and you can not install all the features that are included
in the Windows Server 2008 R2.
