WIN 98se WinUpdate Download button not working

Running 98SE.
Have run Windows Update before with no problems.
Recently I ran Windows update and it tells me there are 4 updates available
for download.
But when I click the Download button nothing happens.
I found article #216299 about changing the Stylesheets value in the Registry
at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
but there is no Stylesheets entry in Main.
Any suggestions? Thanks
