Win sp2 and sql server 2000 on one pc

I want to do Win updata, but I found out Winsp2 block TCP/IP, I can't make
sql ser2000 on line, I need that at work,and I read some online , but still
don't go it .

and I hade to use Win sp1 still.
who can help me??

XP SP2 does not block TCP, it enables the windows firewall which you can
turn off. Should not be a problem
