The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are
trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.

You may receive an "Error 0x80072EE2," "Error 0x80072EE7," "Error 0x80072EFD," "Error 0x80072F76,"
or "Error 0x80072F78" error message when you try to use the Windows Update Web site or the Microsoft
Update Web site
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=836941

http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/troubleshoot/
Scroll down to and click on the link for "While the Windows Update Web site
is loading, you receive Initialization Error 0x80072F76".

Make sure you haven’t got anything blocking Windows Update like Nortons, Zonealarm etc
Also make sure you don’t have a Web Accelerator working in the background such as NetZerio, HiSpeed,
Speedband etc.

Thanks for the reply, TaurArian. Sure enough it was the accelerator.

NOTE TO MICROSOFT:

HOW ABOUT SAVING THE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO USE ACCELERATORS WEEKS OF HASSLE
AND INSTEAD OF A CRYPTIC ERROR MESSAGE TYPE IN:

IF

YOU

HAVE

AN

ACCELERATOR

TURN

IT

OFF!

Is that really that difficult to do? No... it's much better to bury people in:

"Error 0x80072EE2," "Error 0x80072EE7," "Error 0x80072EFD," "Error
0x80072F76,"
or "Error 0x80072F78"

It may come as a big surprise but most of us don't decompile MS-DOS 6
programs for kicks on a Saturday night!

COMMUNICATE

IN

ENGLISH

PLEASE!

I'm sure you can do it!
