i have small business office 2007 w/Win vis ultimate
and am having problems with powerpoint that was working fine until either an
update i recieved or a glitch in the office update that was sent to me
(something happened when i was in publisher and i am not sure if MS sent me
an update or what, i did forget already) and so
all powerpoint presentations that were saving automatically to
.pptx (powerpoint shows) and worked fine
but now as i get a ppt, they have changed into
Microsoft Office Picture Manager files .pps except for 2 of them
and want to know why this has happened
but more importantly HOW TO FIX??
someone told me that .pps was prior to 2007
TU so much

Right click the file that you know is a PowerPoint Presentation, click Open
With, from the listings, select Office PowerPoint > check the box that says
Always open with this program.
