Win XP SP2 Home won't install. I get nothing

from auto update (it is enabled) and the windows update does nothing. I'm
using SP1, with McAfee firewall and antivirus, plus Mcrosofts Beta 1 spyware
programs.

The box is a hp pavilion a220n, plenty of mem and storage...

Any suggestions? Other than ordering a cd and waiting on snailmail?

Order the CD, typically it arrives in less than 2 weeks.
Or download SP-2 and burn to CD.
Both of these options are listed on Step 1 of the Service Pack Installation
